The Founder
Joséphine Fossey is an interior architect, creative director, and art curator. She develops a cross-disciplinary approach in which every space is considered as a complete, holistic work of art.
Franco-Swedish by background, she cultivates a distinctive aesthetic where the clarity of lines, the softness of materials, and the restraint of forms come together to create a quiet elegance; at the crossroads of classicism and modernity.
Trained within Christie’s Impressionist and Modern Art department, she honed her eye there, drawing inspiration from the study of emblematic collections such as those of Yves Saint Laurent and Hubert de Givenchy.
For more than ten years, she has served as an art curator, working with iconic hotels and prestigious houses to build their collections, including collaborations with institutions such as Orient Express, Four Seasons, Rosewood, and Cartier. Through this experience, she has developed a recognized expertise in residential and exceptional hospitality projects.
As her role naturally evolved over time, Joséphine Fossey founded her eponymous creative studio in 2021: a multidisciplinary organization today comprising some fifteen architects, creative directors, and curators.
Her recent work, ranging from private residences to major international hospitality projects, embodies this singular approach in which each place becomes a reflection of a perspective, a culture, and a deeply felt sensibility.
